      For me it is the vastness of space and the fact that when you look at the stars and galaxies, you are looking into the past. Those objects might not even exist anymore, yet you are seeing the light from them because it took many many years to get to us. The Andromeda galaxy is over 2 million light years away – so it took the light to travel over 2 million years to get to us! Who knows if the galaxy still exists today?

      I completely agree with Hina. Also that so much of it is unexplored.

      I think it is fascinating that it doesn’t matter where we look, we always find something new. There is so much to explore; we’ll never run out of places to look.
