I think the work I am most proud of so far is my PhD thesis, because it was four years of my life! However, I feel my biggest breakthrough is yet to come, so watch this space! ; )

The biggest breakthrough I’ve ever been involved in is developing a new battery chemistry. It’ll mean sometime soon batteries that have more than twice the energy storage of current Lithium batteries. And the important thing is they’ll be about 20 times cheaper. So your electric car might one day soon be reasonably priced.

I think transitioning from being a lab chemist to being a space engineer was pretty major. But in scientific terms my PhD research was my biggest accomplishment.
