      Yes. But you can always break things down into smaller problems. Also, the great thing about being in a working environment is that you have colleagues to help you! In school, it’s all about you against the exams!! It’s your own personal battle. But once you get into the world of work, everyone around you is on the same team trying to achieve the same overall goal. That’s such a different perspective.

      So, when my job is particularly difficult, I discuss it with colleagues and see who around me might have better skills in that area to help me (and of course I try and learn for next time too).

      If it weren’t intellectually challenging, I’d be bored. But it’s not hard to get up in the morning to go and do it, because fundamentally I feel it’s worthwhile.

      What I find really hard is starting something new. I fear that I’ll fail at the new unknown task I’ve never done before so I always put it off as long as I can (I did this with my revision at school too).
      …but once I actually get stuck in I always find than it’s easy. Wish I’d known this when I was revising 🙂
