Sometimes but rarely, the good thing about my job is that I have to focus alot! So when you are working all you tend to think about is the work itself.

That’s an interesting question! I think you always bring your personality to a job, and that’s a part of your personal life, but one of the great things about working is that it is a different environment from home. You have to be highly professional and there are many rules and regulations that are quite different to how you behave at home. Therefore, it’s quite possible for work and home to be very different places. Without completely forgetting about home, it certainly is possible to get into “work mode” and shut out your personal life for a while.

Well, it does in the sense that because my partner and I both work full time and we have children, we have to be very regimented about our scheduling and our availability. Luckily my work has flexible working conditions, so I can work from home or in the evenings in order to fulfill my hours and meet deadlines.

My personal life doesn’t affect my job really. I’m lucky that I have very flexible working conditions, so I can come and go as I please, work form home when I want; as long as the work gets done and I go to meetings (in person or over the phone) it’s all good.
If I need to take it easy for a while I’ll stay at home. If I’ve been dancing one evening, I’ll got to work at lunchtime the next day.
