      I started working full-time as an engineer 13 years ago. But I worked part-time all through university and postgrad to help pay the bills – temp work in offices and the like.

      My first job was when I was 16. I worked in Tesco when I was at college. I had a few jobs through Uni, including a year in industry where I worked as a sort of apprentice for a year doing electronics.
      I left uni 11 years ago and have been an engineer ever since.
