All of the jobs I have done have had memorbale aspects to them. During my PhD I worked on the first multi-spacecraft mission to look at the interaction between the Sun and the Earth. The first ESA Cluster mission actually exploded on launch (and with it my PhD temporarily!) but then they we were able launch Cluster II the following year using duplicate materials that had been used in the test phases. Working at NASA was amazing and again I worked on a ground breaking mission called IMAGE which was the first all-image based satellite looking at the aurora and Sun-Earth connections.

These days every day id different as I get to talk to industry on how space and satellite data can be used to improve their services and applications. I work with offshore renewable energy provider to use satellite data to look at the condition of the wind farms and improve energy efficiency. Also working with farmers to improve crop yield and understand the condition of their land to get the best use.

So all my jobs have been memorable, and I have been able to work with amazing people along the ways. I have made friends for life in my journey around the world. For me the most memorable events have involved the great people around me and who became close friends.
