I am well known in the space industry and I have done some media work as well. I have some well known friends, including Professor Lucie Green and Dr Matt Taylor of Rosetta fame. The three of us have worked closely over the years, all of us starting our careers at the same time. Lucie and I have worked together for many years in London and in the US, and Matt and I shared an office and a house (as room-mates) when we were both at ESA.

No, well known at work, but not “famous”. I don’t think I’d like to be famous anyway (it’s too much hassle).

I’m popular on the internet! Well, not really, although I do have a pretty solid community of online friends due to many years of blogging. I’ve been on television a couple of times, most notably the Horizon programme about the Cassini mission, but my boss is the famous one, not me.
